I'm Joseph Green, designer and developer. I create websites and web apps for businesses and founders who want to look as good online as they are in real life — and I handle everything myself, from first wireframe to final deploy.

Before working for myself, I spent ten years as a software developer at American Express, building large-scale platforms used by millions of people. That's where my standards come from: things should be reliable, secure, and fast — not just pretty.

Since then I've designed and built corporate sites, brand sites, booking platforms, a wealth-management CRM, and AI-assisted tools — in English and Spanish, for clients around the world.

What drives me

I spend way too long on tiny details most people will never consciously notice — and that's exactly the point. The difference between a website that works and a website that wins is a hundred small decisions nobody can name but everyone can feel.

What I enjoy most is the last stretch of a project: when the structure is standing and the real craft begins. Most of the value hides in that final pass — the spacing, the loading feel, the words on the buttons.

And I like that as one person I can promise something an agency can't: the person you brief is the person who designs it, builds it, and answers your emails.

My philosophy

No templates, no page builders. Every site I ship is designed and coded for one specific business, because sameness is invisible — and invisible doesn't sell.

Design should be functional first, then efficient, then delightful — in that order. I solve the real problem, not the trendy one, and I measure what I can while still trusting a good gut feeling.

And quality isn't only what you see: accessibility, load speed, SEO, and clean code are design decisions too. A beautiful site that's slow is a slow site.
